Step
back in time and enjoy a day without motorized vehicles on
Mackinac Island. Horses, bicycles and your own two feet are
the local transportation of choice. Tour the Island on a Horse
Drawn Carriage, absorb the area’s rich history at Fort
Mackinac, catch the Magic Show at Mission Pointe Resort, relax
and watch butterflies in flight at one of the butterfly conservatories,
picnic in the state park or lunch at the Grand Hotel. Free
shuttle rides from hotel to the ferry line of your choice.
Ferry rides leave every ½ hour in peak season and are
a 15 minute smooth sail.
